What is Linktree Shops?
Linktree Shops is Linktree’s social commerce program, which enables you to earn industry-leading commissions on millions of products — right from your Linktree. When you curate the products you love via Linktree Shops, they’ll be visible in a dedicated Shop tab, making it easier for your audience to browse your fave products directly on your Linktree.
What brands are part of the program? Does this include their entire collection, or select items only?
We’ve partnered with top brands like Target, Sephora and Revolve to get you industry-leading commission rates on millions of products. Some products may earn different commission rates or be non-commissionable, however, we do our best to negotiate industry-leading rates across as many products and categories as possible. We’re adding new brands to Linktree Shops all the time, so check your Explore tab to browse the latest additions.
Adding products and collections
How do I edit a product?
Tap the product and select the pen icon to update the image, title and price.
What are collections?
Collections allow you to seamlessly group, organize, and feature your favorite products, making them easy for your audience to find.
How many products can I add to a collection?
We recommend adding up to 30 products per collection to keep your audience engaged. You can add as many collections to your Linktree as you like.
How do I hide a product or collection?
You can hide a product or collection by switching the toggle on the right-hand side of your product or collection to make it gray.
If I delete a collection, will the products be deleted?
Yes. Make sure to add the products to another collection or individually to your Shop if you wish to keep them on your Shop.
How do I add a product to an existing collection?
Tap the collection you want to add products to.
Tap the Add button and select the product you’d like to add.
Tap Done and the product will be added to your collection.
Do I have to add products to a collection?
No, but we recommend organizing your products into collections so your audience can easily find what they’re looking for. You can direct your audience to specific collections on your Shop by sharing short links.
What are recommended products in the Explore tab?
Recommended products are products we think you’ll love, based on what you’ve previously added to your Shop.
Creating a post
What is a post? Why should I create a post?
With Posts, you can make your Instagram and TikTok content shoppable. Just choose the social content you want to feature on your Shop and add products. This helps your audience find and purchase products from your social content more easily. You can add multiple products and multiple pieces of content from different platforms to the same post on your Linktree.
Posts are currently exclusively available in the mobile app. Download the app today!
How do I create a post?
To create a post, click on the purple + Add button and click Post. Follow the steps to select the social content you want to feature and add products to your post.
Sharing your Shop
Can I make my Shop the main tab on my Linktree?
Yes! Navigate towards Shop Settings and toggle on “Set Shop as main tab”, so when visitors arrive on your Linktree, they’ll see your Shop first. If you want to direct your audience to your Shop without making it your main tab, add /shop to the end of your Linktree URL when you share it.
Can I link directly to specific products, collections or posts?
Yes, at the top of each collection and post, you’ll see a share icon (
). Click this icon to generate a short link. Share this link with your audience to land them directly on a specific product, collection or post. To generate a short link for an individual product, swipe left on the product you wish to share and tap the share icon.
Is there a way to display a preview of my Shop on my Links tab?
Yes! You can display a preview of your Shop directly on your Links tab on your Linktree. Tap on the settings icon in the top right hand corner of your Shop and toggle on Display Shop.
Instagram Auto-DMs
Can I use the Instagram Auto-DM feature to direct my audience to specific products on my Shop?
Our Instagram Auto-DMs feature is currently only available for non-product links. We are looking into expanding this feature to Shops soon!
Payments and Rates
Does my follower count affect the rates I can earn?
Definitely not. All Linkers can access the same rates!
How are commission rates calculated?
We always negotiate the highest commission rates for creators, but the final rate is determined by our retailers.
How long are commission rates locked in for?
Commission rates are set by each individual brand and are subject to change. Products in the Explore tab will always reflect the most up-to-date commission rates.
Will I get commission on someone’s entire purchase? (i.e. If the user clicks on a lipgloss and also buys a mascara, shampoo, and conditioner – would I earn from those additional purchases?)
Yes, you can earn commission on all eligible products within your visitor’s cart!
What are the return windows for each brand?
Funds get released once a purchase has been made in your store, after the retailer’s window closes for cancellations, returns and funds. The timeframe for this is solely determined by each individual retailer based on their own terms. Due to this, it can take up to 60 days or sometimes longer for funds to be unlocked
If a brand/retailer is running a promotion on a product, how does that impact my earnings?
Promotions may impact commission rates, as some brands place caps on commission for products that are on sale. Products in the Explore tab will always reflect the most up-to-date commission rate.
How will I get paid for the sales I generate?
Once your Linktree Shop is set up, you can start accruing commissions immediately. We handle all the backend details, from securing your commissions to depositing them into your Linktree Wallet for easy access. After you complete your Wallet setup and connect to Stripe and subject to meeting the minimum payout threshold, you’ll be eligible to receive payouts which we usually make on a monthly basis.
How often will I be paid?
Linktree will usually pay out Available Funds monthly, in the last week of each month. The estimated date will be displayed in your Linktree Wallet, and the funds should land in your Stripe account on the next business day. Paid funds should show up in your bank account within 5 business days, subject to any payment processing delays that your bank might implement.
What payment methods does Linktree offer?

What is the minimum payment threshold?
The minimum payment threshold for payouts of Partner Earnings is $10 per month. If you have at least $10 in available funds in your Linktree account, you will be eligible for a payout for that month.
Who is responsible for exchange fees and bank fees?
There are no exchange or bank fees applied to your earnings by Linktree. However, your earnings may be subject to third-party payment processor fees.
Why didn’t I receive payment?
If you haven’t received a payment, there could be a couple of reasons why:
Your account is less than 40 days old. This is because of the affiliate network payment cycles and the time it takes for sales to move from ‘pending’ to ‘closed’ commissions.
You have not earned at least $10. Our minimum threshold is $10. If you haven’t reached this amount, instead of receiving payment, these earnings will roll over into the next month until you have reached the minimum $10.
Your Stripe account may not be set up correctly.
