At Linktree, our mission is to empower anyone to curate, grow, and monetize their digital universe. We believe that a safe, trusted and open internet is essential for creativity, connection, and expression.

This means we are committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights, including those set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) – together known as the International Bill of Human Rights – as well as the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). These commitments guide how we design, operate, and moderate our platform.

Our commitment

• Freedom of expression and association: Supporting individuals’ ability to express themselves and connect with others, while balancing this with the need to protect against harm.
• Privacy and security: Safeguarding Linker data and communications, embedding privacy by design and protecting against misuse.
• Safety and dignity: Taking action on illegal harms such as child sexual abuse material, terrorism, hate and harassment – and being transparent about how we enforce our policies.
• Fair process: Providing clear policies, consistent enforcement and appeal mechanisms so Linkers can contest decisions they believe are in error.
• Transparency and accountability: Publishing transparency reporting and continually improving our governance to align with global best practices and regulatory expectations.

Content moderation and human rights

Our content moderation policies and enforcement decisions are informed by these commitments. We seek to minimize bias, consider potential human rights impacts, and weigh the risks of both action and inaction when moderating content. Where possible, we take steps tonotify Linkers of our decisions, explain the rationale and provide an opportunity to appeal.

Continuous improvement

We regularly review our policies and processes against evolving human rights standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices, and we engage with stakeholders such as civil society, regulators, and experts to strengthen our approach.
